Halloween 2025

Halloween is definitely a time that brings out a lot of the kids from the area. It is very common for kids to start at the Fire Hall in Loring and work their way down to our Royal Canadian Legion Br. 415. It just so happens, St. Andrew's United Church is about halfway between these two locations. It works great for the kids to stop in and have some fun (or use the washroom) along the way.

Anyone who lives on a sideroad, down a long laneway or anywhere else that might not be conducive to Trick - O -Treating was invited to come join us. It gave people a chance to see the kids and have a little fun.

A few years ago, a potato was offered to unsuspecting children along with candy. The silliness of a potato made everyone laugh. What was even more funny was that most kids wanted to keep the potato along with their sweet treat. This year, Brussel sprouts were occasionally offered. Some kids giggled, others were disappointed they didn't get the hoped for potato.

If happy kids make you happy, come join us next year as we indulge this wonderful community tradition.
