KENNY - The Original (OG)

KENNY - OG has once again come to an end. It was a fantastic season for the kids who made it out on Saturday nights. This year was lead by Kara Read and Jessica Bolden-Kuntz and they did a fantastic job keeping the kids busy and the fun rolling. The snacks were great and they also introduced many new games to the kids. The program ran smooth like butter.

It is also wonderful to see many kids who once were part of the program, now leading. We had high school kids there every week to help out and give back. We also had some new teens jump in and demonstrate they were ready to be part of the team. Seven years ago when KENNY started we had hoped that the kids who enjoyed the programs would see value in being part of the team. It has been a great process to watch and be a part of.

thanks needs to be given to all who help - Candice Van Ooyen, Mike and Linda Neutel, and the kids (Eli, Angus, Ronin, Jasmine, Tristen, Madison, Sienna, Cayden, Evan, Wyatt, Michael, Seb and Ben). And a big thank-you to St. Andrew's United Church for allowing us to use the church as our homebase.
